We devised methods in synergy with the University of Sannio from Benevento, Italy, that became the subject of several publications at national and international level, also put to the attention of EASA. A novel technical parameter for the electro-mechanical efficiency of the drone has been identified, a Figure of Merit we named DronesBench Index (DBI), it being the ratio between the thrust and its necessary electric power, which represents a health index of the drone as a whole.
